The differential current circuit breaker without built-in overcurrent protection, type VD3-63 series KARAT, is designed to automatically disconnect power in case of insulation failure in single-phase and three-phase AC electrical circuits with a rated voltage of up to 400 V and a frequency of 50 Hz. The circuit breaker is electromechanical and is functionally independent of the mains voltage; it is intended for use in residential, public, and industrial facilities, construction sites, and is installed in low-voltage switchgear and distribution units with an ingress protection rating of at least IP30. The RCD is not intended to disconnect short-circuit currents and overload currents.
