Nylon cable tie – a strip of durable and flexible polymer with a special fastener at the end. Standard nylon cable ties are consumable installation materials. The locking device of a standard tie consists of a nylon head with a molded tongue. On the inner side of the tie tongue, there are serrated teeth. Standard cable ties have a one-way, non-releasable locking mechanism. Nylon ties are designed for installing cable systems (for securing cable bundles into a single system or for suspension). Standard nylon cable ties may differ in width and length – these are the primary characteristics. The greater the width of the cable tie, the greater the load (in kg) it can withstand. Cable ties with widths from 2 to 8 mm are available in stock.
