Insulated adapter for short-circuiting and grounding AIZZ 40 is intended for voltage measurement, short-circuiting, or protective grounding of a line using short-circuiting devices of type UZK, grounding devices of type UZM, or universal short-circuiting and grounding devices UZMK when working on overhead lines (OHL). They are installed on the conductive and neutral cores of SIP for the entire service life of the line (usually at its beginning and end). To access the bronze plug contact with a lock, the insulating cap is removed. The plug contact has a hole for checking the absence of voltage. To install the AIZZ adapter on the line, the use of a branch piercing clamp OP 645 or OP-645M is required. AIZZ 40 adapter has one plug and is intended for connecting short-circuiting devices of type SE 41, UZK-5-41, UZK-6-41, UZK-7-41, as well as UZMK-5-41, UZMK-6-41, UZMK-7-41.
