E47 ammeters - analog electromagnetic measuring instruments - are designed to measure current in AC electrical circuits. Principle of operation: E47 ammeters belong to instruments with an electromagnetic system. They consist of a round coil with movable and stationary cores placed inside. When current flows through the coil windings, a magnetic field is created that magnetizes both cores. As a result, like poles of the cores repel each other, and the movable core rotates the needle axis. To protect against the negative influence of external magnetic fields, the coil and cores are protected by a metal shield.
