E47 ammeters with replaceable scales - analog electromagnetic electrical measuring instruments - are designed to measure current in AC electrical circuits. Principle of operation: E47 ammeters belong to instruments with an electromagnetic system. They consist of a round coil with movable and stationary cores placed inside. When current flows through the coil windings, a magnetic field is created, magnetizing both cores. As a result, like poles of the cores repel each other, and the movable core rotates the axis with the pointer. To protect against the negative influence of external magnetic fields, the coil and cores are protected by a metal shield. The device is purchased without scales; replaceable scales are purchased separately.
