Electromagnetic contactors are intended for use in control circuits for starting and stopping three-phase asynchronous squirrel-cage induction motors in electrical networks with a rated voltage of up to 660V AC, and can also be used for switching on and off other electrical installations: lighting, heating units, and various inductive loads. Used in fans, pumps, furnaces, crane-girders, and in automatic transfer switch (ATS) systems.
In terms of design and technical characteristics, the KMI-A series contactors comply with the requirements of international and Russian standards GOST R 50030.4.1-2012 (IEC 60947-4-1:2009).
