Electromagnetic contactors are intended for use in control circuits for starting and stopping three-phase asynchronous squirrel-cage induction motors in electrical networks with a rated voltage of up to 660V AC, and can also be used for switching on and off other electrical installations: lighting, heating units, and various inductive loads.
