The AD-2(4) (S) EKF PROxima residual current circuit breaker (RCBO) is a device that combines the functions of a circuit breaker with a residual current device. When the circuit breaker detects a leakage current (fault) to ground or an overcurrent (overload or short circuit) in the protected network section, the device trips, leading to the disconnection of the protected network. A special feature of EKF residual current breakers is the presence of a built-in surge protection unit. AD-2 and AD-4 EKF PROxima are available in standard and selective (AD-2S, AD-4S) versions.
