VA47-063Pro circuit breakers are designed for carrying current in normal mode and disconnecting current during short circuits, overloads, as well as for infrequent operational switching of electrical circuits and are designed for operation in electrical installations with a rated voltage of up to 400 V AC at a frequency of 50 Hz. The design of VA47-063Pro circuit breakers includes thermal and electromagnetic releases (one for each pole), providing protection against overload currents and short circuits, respectively. The overload current occurring in the protected circuit causes heating of the bimetallic plate of the thermal release. The plate bends and activates the circuit breaker trip mechanism. The circuit breaker trips and opens the circuit. The short circuit current occurring in the protected network activates the electromagnetic release. The circuit breaker trips and opens the circuit.
