Resanta BP-5218 chainsaw allows sawing wood along and across the grain, pruning tree branches, felling them, and preparing firewood. This model with a gasoline carburetor engine is powerful enough to saw logs of various thicknesses. Its compact 450 mm guide bar makes the chainsaw ideal for working with branches and timber. Thanks to the powerful 3.8 hp 2-stroke air-cooled engine, the chainsaw excels at large volumes of work on a private plot or in forestry. The chain consists of 72 links with a thickness of 1.5 mm and a pitch of 0.325". The saw is equipped with an improved oil pump, which ensures the chain is always well-lubricated with special oil. This not only improves performance but also increases the service life of metal parts. The chain lubrication tank capacity is 260 ml. The piston group of this model is chrome-plated, which increases its reliability. The carburetor is easy to adjust. A combined choke control system is used. It automatically switches to the operating position when the throttle trigger is pressed. The "easy start" system simplifies the chainsaw startup. The manual fuel pump allows fuel to be pumped into the carburetor during a cold start. Resanta BP-5218 is equipped with a chain brake that protects the operator from kickback during operation. Additional comfort is provided by a well-designed vibration damping system consisting of 3 damping bushings.
