TERACOM and TERACOM PRO ceiling and unit cooling blocks are recommended for cooling active equipment installed inside enclosed floor and wall telecommunications cabinets and to prevent failure due to overheating. Cooling blocks allow for additional forced cooling and hot air removal from the cabinet; they are designed for installation in the cabinet roof or on 19” racks. Structurally, TERACOM cooling blocks are designed for 1, 2, or 3 fans (120x120 mm with bearing), have an enclosed housing, a separate connector for connecting the power cable to the mains or UPS, an on/off button with light indication, and may have a built-in thermostat that activates the fans when a set temperature is reached. TERACOM PRO rack unit cooling blocks with a built-in electronic thermostat are designed for local point installation in a specified cabinet unit height or on 19-inch racks parallel to the door next to high-heat expensive active equipment. This allows for rapid hot air removal, which extends its service life. The minimum service life of the cooling blocks is 50,000 hours. The temperature of the blocks with a built-in thermostat is adjustable in the range from 0 to 60 degrees C0. Power supply to the fan blocks is provided through an IEC320 C14 power connector built into the housing. ATTENTION!
