Stockings for overhead power lines are used to facilitate and accelerate the process of pulling cables and wires during the construction and maintenance of overhead lines. They serve as a strong connecting link between the pilot rope and the cable, ensuring a reliable connection and safe deployment, which is especially important for long anchor spans. Designed for bundling of SIP-4 and SIP-2 bundles during overhead line installation. It is applied after installing CM and GM type installation stockings onto the messenger wire of the SIP bundle to the entire bundle of conductors, preventing the bundle from spreading during deployment and protecting the insulation surface of the cores from damage when in contact with electrical installation elements. The banding stocking is installed such that the pulling loop of the banding and the installation stocking coincide, after which the stockings are connected to the pilot rope using a swivel.
