• PURPOSE The motion sensor is designed for automatic light switching when a person appears in the sensor's detection zone. • APPLICATION A motion sensor will be invaluable in controlling lighting on stairs, in corridors, in pantries, as well as anywhere where your hands may be busy or you are present for a short time. With the motion sensor, the light will turn on automatically when a person appears in the detection zone and turn off when there is no movement for a time set by you (from a few seconds to a few minutes). This simple solution will increase comfort, save electricity, and ensure the safety of your home. The IP44 protection rating allows the motion sensor to be used in rooms with high humidity and even outdoors. • PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION The motion sensor is connected to the electrical network similarly to a classic light switch. Upon detecting movement in a 12-meter detection zone, the sensor closes the circuit and the light turns on. The motion sensor is configured so as not to react to pets; however, the light will turn on upon detecting, for example, a moving car or any large warm body. The built-in twilight sensor will allow you to adjust the level of natural light at which the light will not turn on. In this mode, the light will turn on only when it is truly needed, and false sensor activations will not bother you.
