The sensor is designed for use in DC systems, such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), as well as for monitoring the temperature of capacitor banks in reactive power compensation units (RPCU). Its semiconductor sensor provides stable measurements under conditions of variable frequencies and high electromagnetic interference. Mounting via a silicone strap allows for easy installation of the sensor on cables, busbars, and other elements without compromising their integrity. This sensor can also be used in conjunction with the SM01007 ambient temperature and humidity sensor to detect the threat of condensation on the walls of the switchgear enclosure.
