In the "U5 Combitech" system, the bottom insert is used to protect the cable from damage. The use of the insert also prevents cable sagging and the risk of damage during installation and operation of the route. The bottom insert has a length of 3000 mm and a width of 200 mm. It is made of 1 mm thick sheet steel with a corrosion-resistant coating. Fasteners are used to install the accessory: nut M6 (code СМ100600), bolt M6x16 (code СМ010616). Accessories in the "Zinc-flake coating" version have a coating based on magnesium resin with zinc and aluminum flakes and demonstrate better corrosion resistance performance than zinc coating of the same thickness, and is only slightly inferior to stainless steel.
