In the "U5 Combitech" system, the bottom insert is used to protect the cable from damage. The use of the insert also prevents cable sagging and the risk of damage during cable laying and operation. The bottom insert has a length of 3000 mm and a width of 600 mm. It is made of 1 mm thick sheet steel with a corrosion-resistant coating. For mounting the accessory, the following fasteners are used: M6 nut (code CM100600), M6x16 bolt (code CM010616). Accessories in the "Zinc-flake coating" version have a coating based on magnesium resin with zinc and aluminum flakes and demonstrate better corrosion resistance than zinc coating of the same thickness, and is only slightly inferior to stainless steel.
