The SM-L nail-in anchor consists of the following elements: an anchor with a countersunk rim and a two-segment expansion zone, and an expansion element – a special nail with a countersunk head with a PZ cross slot and a reinforced washer. The anchor is made of polypropylene, the nail – of carbon steel, coating – yellow zinc. The nail-in anchor is designed for fastening building materials and products to concrete, solid brick, or stone bases. It is used for through-installation of brackets, door frames, window frames, cable channels, lathing, gypsum boards (GKL), gypsum fiber boards, etc. A hole must be pre-drilled for installation. Fastener strength is achieved by expanding the anchor in the hole with the nail at the moment of hammer impact. Using the cross slot on the nail head, the fastener can be easily loosened or tightened, or dismantled. The countersunk rim nail-in anchor is installed flush, i.e., its head is recessed, making it possible to perform fastening work without subsequent surface leveling.
