PS-5 photoresistor is used to control lighting or other loads depending on the light level. Typically, a photoresistor is used in outdoor lighting control systems and switches the load on/off at sunrise/sunset. Direct connection of a load with a current of no more than 15A is allowed to the photoresistor. A higher power load can be connected using a contactor.
The light threshold is adjustable in the range of 5-50 lx. The photoresistor has an IP66 protection rating, allowing it to be installed in conditions of heavy dust and moisture exposure.
