DIN 6334 extended nuts are called connection or transition nuts. Their thread length is three times their diameter. This allows the connected parts to be screwed in from both sides, capturing enough turns to obtain a strong joint. To prevent self-loosening, locknuts are used. Thus, it is convenient to join studs, for example, when installing: • suspended ceilings of complex configurations; • panel formwork; • ventilation systems, cable trays, etc. Thanks to the hexagonal surface, it is convenient to perform the installation of transition connection nuts using open-end wrenches. Detachable connections can be used multiple times.
