Infrared motion sensor MS-16C is designed to save energy through automatic control of lighting and other engineering systems. The sensor reacts to the movement of people and other objects within its detection zone; the sensor's operating principle is based on monitoring the level of IR radiation in the field of view.
The MS-16C sensor is designed for surface mounting on a wall. The sensor features a 2-axis adjustable swivel mechanism, allowing it to be aimed at the required area. It is recommended to use the sensor in corridors, entrances, and various transit zones. Outdoor use under a canopy is possible.
Operating algorithm: when motion occurs in the sensor's field of view, the built-in electromechanical relay (rated for a full power of 1200W) switches the connected load. After that, the load remains energized for a set period (from 10 sec. to 7 minutes, adjustable) and then turns off. Additionally, the sensor has a light level control function.
