MS-28A infrared motion sensor is designed to save energy through automatic control of lighting and other engineering systems. The sensor responds to the movement of people and other objects within the sensor's range; the sensor's operating principle is based on monitoring the level of IR radiation in the field of view.
The MS-28A sensor is designed for surface mounting on the ceiling. It is recommended to use the sensor in storage rooms, dressing rooms, and other areas with temporary human presence.
Operating algorithm: when motion occurs in the sensor's field of view, a built-in electromechanical relay (rated for a full power of 1200W) switches the connected load. After that, the load remains energized for a set period (from 10 sec. to 7 minutes, adjustable) and then turns off. Additionally, the sensor has a light level control function. If the illumination in the detection zone is above the set level (adjustable), the load will not turn on, allowing for additional energy savings
