The MS-22B infrared motion sensor is designed for energy saving through automatic control of lighting and other engineering systems. The sensor responds to the movement of people and other objects within the sensor's detection zone; the sensor's principle of operation is based on tracking the level of IR radiation in the field of view.
The MS-22B sensor is designed for surface mounting on the ceiling. It is recommended to use the sensor in pantries, closets, and other rooms with temporary human presence.
Operating algorithm: when movement occurs in the sensor's field of view, the built-in electromechanical relay (rated for a full power of 2000W) switches the connected load. After that, the load remains energized for a set period (from 10 sec. to 7 min., time is adjustable) and then turns off. Additionally, the sensor has a light level control function. If the illumination in the detection zone is above the set level (adjustable), the load will not turn on, which provides additional energy savings.
