Optical patch cords are used for switching optical communication lines and connecting them to network and measuring equipment. An optical patch cord is a fiber-optic cable terminated with an optical connector; if the cable is terminated on only one side, this type of patch cord is called a pigtail. For our patch cords and pigtails, we use only the best fiber from Corning; another important quality factor of a patch cord is the quality of the connector, and in our connectors, we use only ferrules (Ferrule Connector) from the Japanese company Adamant. Optical mounting cords, or pigtails (commonly known as "pig tails"), are a length of cable terminated on one side with a connector, and the other end is connected to the fiber by welding. The length of our pigtails is 1.5m. There are also single-mode and multi-mode pigtails; single-mode have a yellow outer sheath, and multi-mode have an orange one.
