Insulating tape cotton 20mm (150g) rubberized black ERA B0002453

Cotton adhesive tape is intended for electrical, installation, and repair work. It is operational at temperatures from -30°C to +30°C in non-aggressive environments and withstands a test voltage (dielectric strength) of 1000 V. Complies with GOST 2162-97. Cotton tape is a rubberized cotton tape coated on one side with a special adhesive compound. The advantage of this type of tape over PVC tape is that the cotton material has one indisputable advantage - it can be used where there are significant temperature increases. A PVC base melts at high temperatures, while cotton holds up excellently. At temperatures above 100 degrees, the cotton base of the tape begins to burn and char, but since insulation is usually applied in several layers, it cokes, maintaining its insulating properties. Therefore, even in the event of the burning of contacts or the junction of wires insulated with this type of tape due to excessive load, fire does not occur, which can prevent a fire. - Frost-resistant; - Insulates wires under voltage up to 1000 V; - Material: 100% cotton; - Adhesive layer - natural rubber.
