• PURPOSE Electrical tape is a polyvinyl chloride film made from a PVC composition by a calendered method, with an adhesive layer applied to one side, and cut into strips of a specific width. Substances included in the base of the tape and the adhesive layer prevent the film from catching fire and melting (combustion is only possible under exposure to an open flame). • SCOPE OF APPLICATION Used in domestic and industrial settings as an insulation material for electrical work; operating temperature range from -50°C to 80°C; dielectric strength of the tape – 5 kV. • PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION The electrical properties of the tape are determined by the properties of the polymer composition and the adhesive layer. • ADDITIONAL ACCESSORIES AND ACCESSORIES none required
