IO insulators are designed for the insulation and fastening of live parts in electrical apparatus and switchgear with voltage up to 10 kV, and are also used for the installation of busbars in switchgear of power plants and substations. Fastening through M10 and M12 holes simplifies installation. Fasteners are not included in the delivery set. Electro-porcelain insulator, withstands a load of up to 3.75 kN, resistant to moisture and aggressive environments. Insulators are made of silicate porcelain with an Al2O3 mass fraction of up to 30% subgroup 110 according to GOST 20419-83. Insulator fittings are pre-treated and coated with BT-577 varnish, which provides protection against moisture and corrosion. The surface of the insulators is glazed, and firing is carried out at high temperatures. As a result, the insulators are chemically resistant to aggressive environments.
