IO insulators are designed for the insulation and fastening of live parts in electrical apparatus and switchgear with voltages up to 10 kV, and are also used for mounting live busbars of switchgear in electrical power plants and substations. Fastening through M8 and M12 holes simplifies installation. Fasteners are not included in the kit. Electro-porcelain insulator, withstands a load of up to 3.75 kN, resistant to moisture and aggressive environments. The insulator is made of silicate porcelain with an Al2O3 mass fraction of up to 30% subgroup 110 according to GOST 20419-83. The insulator fittings are pre-treated and coated with BT-577 varnish, providing protection against moisture and corrosion. The surface of the insulators is glazed, and firing is carried out at high temperatures. As a result, the insulators are chemically resistant to aggressive environments.
