SM type busbar insulators consist of a cylindrical insulator and mounting hardware. They are installed inside power cabinets or other devices for fixed fixation and insulation of live parts from the enclosure and assembly panels, with subsequent connection of power conductors for power distribution inside the panel. They provide the necessary insulation between the busbar and the supporting structure. Design features: • Attachment of the busbar insulator to the mounting plate or enclosure on one side and to the live busbar on the other is carried out using a bolt, washer, and lock washer included in the delivery set. • A threaded brass bushing with a closed bottom ensures secure fixation of the bolt. • Installation of intermediate insulators is possible (depending on the mounting scheme and busbar length). • Each busbar is installed on at least two insulators (at the ends of the busbar). • Insulator material: dielectric polymer with high electrical resistance parameters, with the addition of reinforced fiberglass. Not subject to aging, burning, and resistant to mechanical impacts.
