The insulator is used as an electrical insulating element in the connection nodes of uninsulated and protected 20 kV overhead wires. It is designed for attaching wires to supports, providing insulation between the wires and the supports. The design consists of a high-strength fiberglass rod, MRN not less than 70 kN, protected by a solid molded silicone ribbed sheath, equipped with pressed steel galvanized end caps. End cap type: eye-and-pin. The sheath provides protection against moisture and contaminants. Pollution degree: III. The product has a small weight and is characterized by strength and ease of installation. The insulator is resistant to ultraviolet radiation, temperature fluctuations (from -60 to +50), corrosion, and aggressive atmospheric effects.
