This version of the detector comes complete with a base for mounting on load-bearing structures. The base has 2 screw contacts for mounting a two-wire ALS cable. The detector performs the following functions: - has two methods for detecting fire - by maximum temperature and by rate of temperature rise; - processes measurement results using special algorithms and transmits "Fire" signals to the control panel; - forms and transmits a "Fault" signal to the control panel; - features operation mode indication; - can be tested for functionality using a button or a special OT-1 optical tester. Power and information exchange of the detector are carried out via a two-wire ALS. The detachable connection of the sensor to the base ensures ease of installation, mounting, and maintenance of the detector. The circular contacts of the base allow for easy installation of the detector without orienting it relative to the base. If protection of the addressable communication line from a single fault is required without using separate devices, there is an option for a base with a built-in isolator – IZ-1B-R3. In this case, when ordering the detector, it is necessary to specify IP 101-29-PR-R3 with IZ-1B-R3. Using the detector with the IZ-1B-R3 base allows the detector to remain operational regardless of which ALS segment the IZ-1B-R3 isolates. i.e., in the event of a short circuit in the input ALS segment, the isolator will disconnect this segment and ensure communication of the detector from the output ALS segment and vice versa. The IP 101-29-PR-R3 detector together with W1.XX or W2.XX bases occupies 1 address in a Rubezh device ALS. The IP 101-29-PR-R3 detector together with the IZ-1B-R3 base occupies 2 addresses (1 address for IP 101-29-PR-R3 + 1 address for IZ-1B-R3).
