REXANT heating cable is intended for heating roofs, gutters, platforms, steps, and channels. It prevents freezing, ice formation, and icicles by heating the cable when an electric current passes through it. It is a two-core constant resistance (resistive type) heating electric wire. Internal insulation made of fluoroplastic with an increased non-flammability class allows it to withstand serious thermal loads without the risk of burnout and provides high strength. A shield made of aluminum-lavsan tape and a drainage wire provide additional protection for the cable. The outer sheath is made of rigid non-flammable PVC, making it resistant to high mechanical loads, solar radiation, atmospheric precipitation, and temperature fluctuations. The minimum installation temperature is -30 °C. The distance between cable turns during installation should be at least 70 mm.
