Self-regulating heating cable REXANT PRO SRL40-2CR with a power of 40 W/m is designed to protect pipelines with a diameter of no more than 150 mm, water meters, valves, tanks, etc., from freezing. The wire changes its own heat output depending on external conditions. Thanks to this, the pipeline heating system can be installed both indoors and outdoors simultaneously. The cable core design allows the cable to be cut into sections of the required length. Under the outer sheath of the cable, there is a braid of tinned copper wires, which serves as protection against mechanical damage, as well as a grounding function for the cable. Installation of the product is carried out on the pipeline under the thermal insulation using aluminum tape and heat-resistant adhesive tape. It is not recommended to install the cable on sharp edges, bend, or rub it during installation. Cross-section of conducting cores: 1.3 mm2. Maximum section length: 50 m. Inrush current coefficient: 4.1 at +10°C. Material of conducting cores: tinned copper wire.
