It is used in TV/DVB/DVB-S2/DVB-T2/HD networks, general-purpose local area networks, cable networks, television networks, digital and satellite television, as well as in video surveillance systems. It is applied for connecting video surveillance cameras and HDTV-supported devices.
Structurally, the cable consists of a central solid conductor made of high-grade oxygen-free copper placed in a foamed polyethylene dielectric.
Over the dielectric, there is an aluminum foil shield, on which an outer conductor made of tinned copper wire in the form of a braid with a density of 96% is located, which reliably protects the transmitted signal from external interference. The outer sheath with a thickness of 0.85 mm, white in color with a green stripe, is made of PVC.
