Eurolan "twisted pair" cables with symmetrical pair twist are designed for transmitting signals with frequencies up to 500 MHz. They are used in structured cabling systems (local area networks) and broadband access systems (BWA). The cables are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 11801, and standards IEC 61156-5, EN 50173-1. They are intended for single and/or group stationary indoor installation. Eurolan cables are laid in specially organized cable routes, on cable trays, cable ladders, cable esplanades, and in cable ducts. During the installation and operation of Eurolan "twisted pair" cables, constant contact with water is not allowed.
