It is designed for creating general-purpose local area networks, home networks, small business networks, computer networks, data networks, and specialized networks. It is used to connect security system devices, telephony, internet, digital television, etc.
The cable is intended for indoor installation. It belongs to Category 5: designed for operating frequencies from 1 to 100 MHz.
The cable conductor is made of copper-clad aluminum (CCA) and is covered with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation (0.85 mm diameter). The 0.5 mm thick outer insulation is made of PVC.
Aluminum foil shielding provides protection against electromagnetic interference.
High data transfer speed is achieved through a special cable crimping method.
