PROconnect F/UTP twisted pair cable, black, is designed for general-purpose local area networks, home networks, small business networks, computer networks, data networks, and specialized networks. It is used for connecting security system devices, telephony, internet, digital television, etc.
The cable is designed for outdoor installation. It belongs to category 5e: rated for operating frequencies from 1 to 100 MHz.
The cable conductor is made of highly purified oxygen-free copper and is covered with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation (1.02 mm diameter). The 0.5 mm thick outer insulation is made of polyethylene.
Aluminum foil shielding provides protection against electromagnetic interference. An additional self-supporting messenger wire allows the cable to be suspended if necessary.
