SUPR represents a unique technical solution – the REELEX II™ cable coil packaging system. All SUPRLAN brand LAN cables are packaged using the special REELEX II™ free-winding technology. Using cable coils packaged according to this system will increase the reliability of the entire installed SCS and reduce logistics costs. So what is this packaging? The first step to assembling a coil using REELEX II™ technology is the unique winding. It is carried out by multiple crossing of the cable at low tension, resulting in a radial hole passing through the center of the coil. A plastic nozzle of increased diameter is inserted into this hole – which, by the way, is a distinguishing feature of all REELEX™ coil variations. The inner end of the cable is passed through this nozzle to the outside to facilitate unwinding and prevent tangling. Also, in addition to the nozzle and free winding, this packaging technology implies the use of a special type of boxes designed for the correct arrangement of the coil and installation of the nozzle. Ultimately, REELEX II® packaging is a coil with cable in the form of a figure-eight wound around an enlarged diameter nozzle. The cable coil itself does not use an internal cable reel and a stand for it, which minimizes waste and reduces the weight and volume of the coil itself. During installation, the REELEX II™ coil reveals itself in the speed and ease of extracting the entire length of the cable without kinks, and the absence of external influences on the cable itself during unwinding positively affects the final transmission characteristics of all laid cable routes, which, as a consequence, increases the reliability of the entire structured cabling system.
