It is designed for creating general-purpose local area networks, home networks, small business networks, computer networks, data networks, and specialized networks. It is used for connecting security system devices, telephony, internet, digital television, etc.
The cable conductor is made of highly purified oxygen-free copper and is covered with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation (0.9 mm diameter). The outer insulation with a thickness of 0.5 mm is made of PVC.
The unshielded cable is intended for indoor installation. It belongs to category 5e: designed for operating frequencies from 1 to 100 MHz.
