8 fiber optic cable for suspension between overhead power line supports, contact networks and railway auto-blocking; between lighting supports, communication supports, buildings and structures; for installation in cable ducts, pipes, trays, blocks, tunnels, collectors, over bridges and trestles and inside buildings. The cable core is a dielectric central power element onto which optical modules with loosely buffered fibers are spirally applied. The free space in the optical modules and in the cable core is filled with hydrophobic gel. An intermediate polymer sheath is applied to the core, onto which glass fiber threads are wound. Maximum allowable tensile strength during cable installation is 2.7 kN.
