Aramid strengthening yarns are placed under the outer sheath, increasing resistance to tensile loads without increasing the cable weight. The sheath is halogen-free, complying with the ng(A)-HFLTx class, which allows the cable to be used in premises with high fire safety requirements, including hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and crowded areas.
The cable contains 18 single-mode optical fibers in a 250μm tight buffer, OS2 category (G.652.D).
