Aramid strengthening yarns are placed under the outer sheath, increasing resistance to tensile loads without increasing the cable weight. The sheath is halogen-free, complies with class ng(A)-HFLTx, which allows the cable to be used in premises with high fire safety requirements, including hospitals, nursing homes, schools and places of mass gathering.
The cable contains 32 multimode optical fibers in a 250μm tight buffer, OM3 category (G.651.1).
