Cable 24 OV, armored with plastic rods for installation in the ground and shallow swamps, for installation in cable ducts, pipes, trays, blocks, tunnels, collectors, on bridges and overpasses, and for installation inside buildings. Optical fibers are loosely laid in a central optical module. A protective layer of fiberglass rods is spirally wound over the optical module. The free space in the optical module and between the rods is filled with hydrophobic gel. An outer sheath made of a halogen-free, flame-retardant, low-smoke polymer composite is applied over the armor. Maximum allowable tensile force during installation is 8 kN.
