REXANT Grade A pine rosin is intended for removing thin and non-persistent oxides from surfaces before soldering, and for improving the wetting of liquid solder when soldering printed circuit boards and radio components. Manufactured in accordance with GOST 19113-84. Rosin is a brittle glassy substance ranging from dark red to light yellow, used as a neutral flux during soldering and tinning of parts and surfaces with tin-lead solders. It is made from coniferous tree resins. No cleaning is required after soldering. Advantages include: increases connection strength; does not form harmful vapors when heated; does not degrade the electrical conductivity of the solder joint; used when connecting low-melting-point contacts. Maximum activity temperature: +170...+250°C. Packaging option – jar with lid, net weight 20 g. Precautions must be observed during use.
