Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCB) AVDT34 are designed to protect persons from electric shock due to insulation failure in electrical installations, to prevent fires caused by leakage currents to ground, and to protect against overload and short circuits in AC networks with a voltage of 400 V and a frequency of 50 Hz. AVDT34 with built-in overcurrent protection responds not only to sinusoidal alternating differential currents, but also to pulsating direct differential currents. Sources of pulsating current include, for example, washing machines with speed controllers, dimmable light sources, televisions, VCRs, personal computers, etc. AVDT34 are available in four-pole configuration for rated currents of 6, 10, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63 A and rated tripping differential currents of 10, 30, 100, 300 mA.
