Fast-acting protective switches provide: in the version with trip settings of 10 and 30 mA: - protection of people from electric shock during direct unintentional contact with live parts of electrical equipment; in the version with trip settings of 100 and 300 mA: – protection against fire due to ignition of insulation of live parts; – protection against overload and short circuit; – protection against unacceptable network voltage increases (AD12M). The products provide indication of tripping due to differential current, and for the AD12M, there is also LED indication of the ON state. The AD12M maintains functionality when the electrical network voltage is reduced to 110 V. Automatic circuit breakers of the new VA47-29 series are used as switching devices in the products.
