• Designed for bundling and fastening in aggressive environments, under increased mechanical loads, vibration, radiation, humidity, and extreme temperature fluctuations
• Material: AISI 316 stainless marine steel
• Product is certified by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping
• Coating: powder polymer coating
• Operating temperature: from -50 °C to +150 °C
• Installation temperature: from -50 °C
• Unique "Multilock" design with several complementary locking mechanisms
• The polymer coating increases corrosion resistance, smooths the edges of the tie, and creates an insulating layer that prevents chemical corrosion between dissimilar metals
• The coating is plastic, does not crack, and maintains flexibility even at negative temperatures
• Non-magnetic steel of the strap and locking mechanism
• Low profile (height) of the lock
• For indoor and outdoor installation
• One-way, non-detachable locking mechanism
• Stepped tightening with perforation pitch on the strap
• Perforated window on the tail of the tie allows the use of hooks to increase tightening
Steel grade AISI 316, also known as "marine steel" or "marine stainless steel," is an improved version of general-purpose steel AISI 304, with a higher nickel content and molybdenum additives. Alloying steel with molybdenum and nickel significantly increases its corrosion resistance in most aggressive environments. Compared to 304 steel, 316 stainless steel is better protected against pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments, seawater, and vapors of sulfuric, phosphoric, boric, formic, acetic, oxalic, lactic, and other acids.
316 steel has higher strength and better creep resistance at higher temperatures than AISI 304. Due to its outstanding resistance to corrosion and oxidation, excellent mechanical properties, and manufacturability, AISI 316 steel is used in sectors such as:
• Shipbuilding and transport;
• Oil production and refining industry;
• Mining industry;
• Production of tanks and vessels for storing corrosive liquids;
• Production of specialized equipment for the chemical, pulp and paper, and pharmaceutical industries;
• Architectural structures in corrosive environments
