Insulated flat terminal (KPI socket - 5.6 mm) 0.5-1.5 mm2 REXANT is designed for creating high-quality electrical equipment connections or joining wires together, which can be disconnected without extra effort if necessary. This terminal is used for terminating stranded copper wires when installing mobile electrical contact connections in rolling stock (automotive, railway, aircraft, and shipbuilding). The REXANT insulated flat terminal consists of two components: a metal connector (socket) and a protective insulator. The metal connector is made of brass with electrolytic tin plating, and the terminal insulator is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which reliably protects the cable crimp area. Crimping is performed with special crimping pliers (ht-301 H art.12-3014, 12-3014; ht-301 N art.12-3116; ht-301 W art.12-3021, 12-3021-4) over the protective insulator. Each terminal has a latch for a more secure mechanical connection with the plug connector. The insulator color is red.
