Insulated flat terminal (KPI plug - 4.8 mm) 0.5-1.5 mm2 REXANT is designed to create a high-quality connection for electrical equipment or to connect wires together, which can be disconnected without extra effort if necessary. Such a terminal is used for terminating stranded copper wires when installing mobile electrical contact connections in rolling stock (automotive, railway, aircraft, and shipbuilding). The REXANT insulated flat terminal consists of two components: a metal connector (plug) and a protective insulator. The metal connector is made of brass with surface electrolytic tinning, and the terminal insulator is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which reliably protects the cable crimping area. Crimping is performed with special crimping tools (ht-301 H art.12-3014, 12-3014; ht-301 N art.12-3116; ht-301 W art.12-3021, 12-3021-4) over the protective insulator. Each terminal has a hole that serves as a lock-type fastener for a stronger mechanical connection with a socket connector. Insulator color is red.
