Insulated flat terminal (KPI plug - 6.3 mm) 4-6 mm2 REXANT is designed to create a high-quality electrical equipment connection or wire-to-wire connection, which can be disconnected without extra effort if necessary. This terminal is used for crimping multi-strand copper wires when installing mobile electrical contact connections in rolling stock (automotive, railway, aircraft, and shipbuilding). Insulated flat terminal REXANT consists of two components: a metal connector (plug) and a protective insulator. The metal connector is made of brass with surface electrolytic tinning, and the terminal insulator is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which reliably protects the cable crimp area. Crimping is performed with special crimping pliers (ht-301 H art.12-3014, 12-3014; ht-301 N art.12-3117, 12-3016, 12-3016-4; ht-301 W art.12-3021, 12-3021-4, 12-3121) over the protective insulator. Each terminal has a hole that serves as a lock-type fastener for a more secure mechanical connection with the receptacle. Insulator color is yellow.
