Insulated flat crimp terminal (KPIt plug - 6.35 mm) 4-6 mm2 REXANT is designed to create a high-quality electrical equipment connection or to connect wires together, which can be disconnected without extra effort if necessary. Such a terminal is used for terminating multi-strand copper wires during the installation of mobile electrical contact connections on rolling stock (automotive, railway, aircraft, and shipbuilding) or in other places where connection reliability is important (for example, telephone or climate equipment). It consists of two components: a metal connector (plug) and a protective thermal insulator. The main distinguishing feature of such a terminal is the heat-shrinkable insulator with an internal adhesive edge, which will ensure protection of the cable crimp area from moisture and dirt. The metal connector is made of brass, with surface electrolytic tinning. Crimping is performed with special crimping pliers (ht-301 H art.12-3014, 12-3014; ht-301 N art.12-3116; ht-301 W art.12-3021, 12-3021-4) over the protective insulator. Each terminal has a hole that serves as a lock-type fastener for a more secure mechanical connection with the socket connector. The insulator color is transparent-yellow.
